Scrutinising council performance

December 12 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£195
The monitoring and challenging of a council’s performance is fundamental to scrutiny’s role.

Yet with increased complexity, diverse delivery partners, private contracts and new responsibilities how do you accurately assess whether an authority is as effective as it should be?

Much of the answer lies in understanding and extracting meaning from performance data. This workshop is designed for non-specialists and will offer a masterclass to councillors and officers providing them with the skills to understand what the data is saying, techniques to interrogate it further and suggestions of how this knowledge can be applied to scrutiny in practice.

Places cost £195 + VAT per person for Local Authority delegates and £225 + VAT per person for commercial sector delegates.

Buy 3 get 1 free – In recognition that authorities may benefit from sending multiple delegates to the same training event. This discount is applied automatically at check-out.

Full programme and timings to follow shortly.
