CfPS would welcome contributions by 12th March to the ongoing work to inform the guidance on the health scrutiny regs, already being developed through five scrutiny development areas, and a short discussion at the County and Unitary Councils' officer OS network last week, based on the following questions.

1) What powers does scrutiny already have that have been useful or valuable, that you would want to be protected or continued?

2) What regulations would you like to see in the future in relation to scrutiny?
What should be continued?
What was missed and should be added?

3) What do you wish to propose to the Department of Health, why, and with what wording? For example:

Joint scrutiny arrangements
Potential powers to scrutinise how health and wellbeing strategies reflect the local Joint Strategic Needs Assessment priorities
