Universal Credit - "digital by default"
One of the less-publicised aspects about the introduction of Universal Credit is the fact that claimants will be expected to apply for it online.

We touched on this in our recently published briefing on the subject, but I was wondering if anyone was planning, or was doing, any work on UC that will look at accessibility for new and existing claimants, and whether your councils are planning to support residents who might not have internet access or be confident using a computer. This is of course all in the context of DWP not providing any additional funds to help with transition.
