Hi Gordon,

You won't find a separate Beacon theme relating to scrutiny, but you could try looking at those councils who have been successful under the community engagement and/or partnerships themes. Some may provide evidence of scrutiny involvement in this.

More broadly, the award of Beacon status is, I understand, contingent on significant and meaningful member involvement in the service in question - in many instances this will therefore involve scrutiny members.

You will probably be able to find more detail on this on the Beacon website.
