I am trying to demonstrate to my Exec Team the various options for Audit Committees and call-in and would like to demonstrate that these are best kept seperate, with call-in of anything financial at the relevant O&S Panel.
ok ok - I wondered if that was the case. Without knowing your authority, my own instinct is to keep call-ins in one committee, whichever one that might be. That's mainly a pragmatic argument about the politics of call-in - if you keep them in one committee, it encourages the members to be disciplined about how many decisions they call in but also builds up their experience about what constitutes a genuinely useful call-in.
