In Blackpool, the existing Culture, Communities and Business Services OSC is the designated Committee to deal with Crime and Disorder scrutiny. This Committee has a scheduled eight meetings per Municipal Year - one of these meetings (around May) is the designated annual CDRP meeting, focusing only CDRP matters. This annual meeting focuses on the priorities of the Partnership and consideration of the Annual Strategic Assessment. Representatives from each of the responsible authorities attend the meeting.
An interim meeting is then held around six months later, focusing on progress achieved, end of year performance information and any further Crime and Disorder issues.
I hope this helps! We had our first C&D meeting last month and it went quiote well. If you want any advice on the format that we used for the meeting, feel free to drop me an email at email@example.com
