RE: Conference feedback
Thanks to the various different Daves who have posted comments.

To answer the most recent one, yes, the idea is that we hold one conference in London and then the next out of London, so next year's will be somewhere else. I have mooted Birmingham. We'll need to book a venue very soon so if you have any thoughts on the best place to hold it (and this should not necessarily be the town where you actually live) then please let me know.

RE: Conference feedback
Can anyone suggest a venue, or do you have to be called Dave?

Cheers

RE: Conference feedback
Hi,

If the idea is to hold one event in London and another elsewhere next year, how about Nottingham? The conference that was held there in 2009 was well attended.

Just a thought.......

Tracy

As a current Lancashire-dweller who formerly lived for fifteen years on the 'other' side of the Pennines, I would say that Birmingham is very deceptive in terms of accessibility. It looks geographically convenient, but from up here, and the north east (not sure about the south west), it is is often quicker to get to London. York would be an excellent venue. In my former life I was involved on setting up several national training events, and York proved to be the best option for that. And I'm not saying that simply because it also has an unbeatable selection of real ale pubs - it really is an excellent location.

York would be an excellent venue (not that I'm biassed or anything)! And, as has, been said, it really is extremely accessible (especially by train!)
