Hi Neil, on roundabout sponsorship I'm not sure about the scrutiny angle, but anecdotally there are a few authorities who are particularly active in this area. One example is Milton Keynes... an authority which arguably has more than its fair share of roundabouts, many (if not all) of which are sponsored. Fran Bower is in scrutiny at MK and may be able to assist further.

I think that Hertfordshire also do quite a bit of this as well - possibly Oxfordshire too.

This is purely on the basis of seeing roundabout sponsorship when driving around, so may be off beam - but it might provide a useful place to start.

Hi Neil

A few years ago Bridgend County Borough Council were looking at the sponsorship of roundabouts as part of improving the look of their gateways.

You could try to see how far they went to attracting sponsorship, especially as they are very local for you.
