RE: NHS Future Forum
There is an opportunity for public comments to be posted on the DoH website as part of the 'listening exercise':

http://healthandcare.dh.gov.uk/working-t...-involved/

Quite a few of the comments so far appertain to public accountability and what the public actually want from this (or in many cases, don't want!). It will be a useful opportunity to restate the case for the importance of health scrutiny and how this can contribute to democratic accountability. This is particularly important in view of another main area of concern being that the commissioning decisions/arrangements of GP consortia will not be publicly transparent, in that the majority NHS type meetings are not open to the public.

Tim, do you think that as part of this exercise, it would be possible to get someone from the 'accountability strand' to attend the CFPS Healthy Accountability Forum on 6th June?
