CfPS launches two guides with The National Autistic Society
The CfPS held a public launch of its publication 'Difference in Mind' co-authored with the National Autistic society in the Westminster Suite at Local Government House on October 25th. Clive Betts MP spoke to a gathering of Councillors, parents, health professionals and staff from the National Autistic Society on the importance he places on the recognition of the special place of children with autism in child and adolescent mental health services.

One of the parents gave an inspiring account of how she found the guide ' Difference in Mind' through the NAS website 'You need to know' , took it along to her local Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and through persuading them to undertake a review of the local services, achieved some important changes.
