Good Scrutiny Awards
Hi all,
The Good Scrutiny Awards 2012 are approaching. As usual we plan to open nominations at the end of January (ish). This year we are hoping to integrate the awards much more closely with the main conference (rather than having posters up). The theme of the conference will be the hyper-local agenda (and the impact on O&S and wider accountability) and so we are looking to recast the award categories to reflect this theme. I wanted to ask you what you thought the categories should be for the awards, in this context. We are reducing the number of categories this year to five. Please post any ideas. RE: Good Scrutiny Awards
Hi Ed,
I'd suggest something about scrutiny and adaptability (where authorities have to demonstrate the impact of scrutiny adapting its role in terms of the changing local government agenda eg: authorities with shared services, joint committees, scrutiny operating outside the box etc....) I totally support the reduction in categories - last year was a little unweidly! Thanks Laura Latham (08-12-2011 04:57 PM)Ed Hammond Wrote: Hi all, |

RE: Good Scrutiny Awards
Hi,
Just wondered if the categories for this year's Good Scrutiny Awards have been firmed up yet? Thanks Liz |
