Has anybody started to think about the 2012 round of Quality Accounts. I was specifically wondering whether there were any local authorities who looked at Quality Accounts over the year (a sub-committee of HOSC??) to lessen the impact of what ends up being a massive piece of work every year. My understanding is that Acute Trusts report to their Boards on a quarterly basis on their priorities, so that should be available for scrutiny. I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Hi, yes, we started work on this. The members had an update at meeting last year of progress from the main health providers of the actions detailed in their previous quality accounts in preperation for the 2011/2012 report. The members are due to recieve a draft of the report at their meeting in March. This is a change to previous arrangements as we had like others real difficulty in managing the large of papers from the different bodies as part of health scrutiny agenda meeting. |
