Health publications launching at conference
CfPS are launching several new health publications at our annual conference which is being held on 12 and 13 June 2012;

Tipping the Scales: showcases a new model for overview and scrutiny
that captures the impact and potential return on investment that a review and its recommendations could make – it follows the journey of five Scrutiny Development Areas that helped CfPS to develop and test this innovative and exciting new tool.

Health and Social Care Act – Scrutiny Briefing: briefs overview and
scrutiny members and officers on the changes within the Health and Social Care Act.

Appreciative Scrutiny: examines the use of Appreciative Inquiry within
a scrutiny review. This publication details the experiences and learning of
local councils and highlights the added value that using an asset based
engagement tool brings to overview and scrutiny.

Copies of other publications which relate to the health reforms will also be available. For more information or to download any of our health publications visit our health publications page.
