I've been asked by the Committee Office in the Commons to bring your attention to a secondment opportunity that's become available for a number of positions as Second Clerks on Select Committees.

The position is for a Senior Clerk, paid at A2 scale (around £46,000). The contract is for 18 months. I don't know which committees the appointees will be appointed to but it may not be in a policy area of which you already have experience.

The ad suggests that it's a single job but I understand that multiple posts are up for grabs. I'm waiting for clarification and hope to provide some more detailed information in due course.
