Next Healthy Accountability Forum
The Healthy Accountability Forum meets quarterly with leaders and policy makers in government and the NHS. Those at the Forum get an early briefing on matters of interest to Health Overview and Scrutiny, a chance to debate with other practitioners, and put their views to the policy makers.

Each regional health scrutiny network is asked to send a member and an officer to the Forum, and the remaining places are available on a first come first served basis.

This ensures the regional perspectives are integrated in to the discussions, and that the debate and the learning can be carried back to the networks.

The next Forum is at Local Government House on September 10th and will look at the work of the Independent Review Panel, current consultations on reconfiguration on the ‘Centres of Excellence’ model, and Health Overview and Scrutiny’s relationship with Foundation Trusts and Monitor.
