Hi All

Attached for information is an infographic page on local government scrutiny under three themes: background, activity and taking part.

The page is part of Our City - a publication that goes to all residents and businesses and the page sits opposite one on councillor contacts.

Best wishes John

RE: Infograms
Nice work John!

What software did you use? I've been tinkering with http://www.easel.ly/ recently as I wanted to do a snapshot of our Annual Report as an infographic.

Cheers

Tom

RE: Infograms
Hi Tom,

thanks for the feedback. Yes - make sense in terms of annual report - ours was done as part of this.

In terms of software - the designer tells me a mix of Quark Xpress mainly, with a bit of Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Photoshop. Like you say there are other ways to do it.

Its a big developing area and with benefits to O and S: below are a few links that might be helpful.

RE: Infograms
It would be good to see more use being made of infographics, particularly to make annual reports more punchy. I think there are lessons for us as well - such as around the way we present our findings from the Annual Survey.

Impressive - jazzing up our annual survey is a good idea...
