Good Scrutiny Awards 2013

Celebrating impact and effectiveness

Now in their 6th year, the Good Scrutiny Awards celebrate transparency, inclusiveness and accountability in public services.

Our awards showcase best practice, innovation, positive outcomes and added value in public services, through the work of non-executives in the public sector and the role they play in representing and supporting local people. If your organisation or community has done something in the last year that you are proud of, CfPS encourages you to enter the Good Scrutiny Awards 2013.

We are not looking for super-scrutineers but people on the ground who are adding value and contributing to effective public services.

Anyone with a non-executive role in the public and not-for-profit sector can enter. The Awards will be presented at an awards and drinks reception on the evening of day one at CfPS 2013. All shortlisted entries will be invited to attend our annual
conference and showcase their work by submitting a 2 minute video that will be shown throughout the day and voted on to select the ‘Scrutineers’ Choice’ award. The winners will be announced at the evening awards ceremony on 11 June 2013.

The 2013 awards highlighted the diverse range of interesting, energetic and high impact scrutiny work that is being carried out despite pressure on resources.
