Action learning projects
Health OSCs were able to bid for £20,000 to support action learning in health scrutiny. 26 projects were supported from 2004 to 2007 in each government office region. The programme helped non-executive councillors and their NHS and public health partners to learn together about the experience of health scrutiny so that they could develop processes locally and share lessons nationally.
