The first event of its kind exploring the complicated issues that arise when overview and scrutiny needs to examine the relationship between their council and private or voluntary sector providers.

This one day event, run in conjunction with 4ps, will include an introduction to the new CfPS publication small print BIG PICTURE and a variety of high profile plenary speakers that will be able to provide expert advice to scrutiny officers and members, with plenty of opportunity for questions.

Examples will also be provided of authorities that have conducted successfully scrutiny of public service partnerships already.  There will be input from the private sector about how they envisage this work developing in the future and benefiting their business.
