Working in a recently streamlined overview and scrutiny structure, you will help carry out ambitious scrutiny that makes a real difference for the people of the Borough.
You will take personal responsibility for a programme of scrutiny reviews and overview work, working with councillors and managing committee and task group meetings. You must have well-developed skills in research and report writing, and be able to communicate confidently with members and officers at all levels.
You will be part of a small Scrutiny Unit, and a positive approach to team working is essential. If you want to develop your skills in a learning and forward-thinking environment, this could be the job for you.
