National Networking Events
The autumn dates and venues for four National Networking Events are now confirmed. These are team events for members and officers of health care and wellbeing scrutiny committees. This year they are designed to complement new councillor induction with a programme that includes the latest ideas and practice in health scrutiny.

National Centre for Involvement Conference 2nd July
This conference will bring together some of the leading experts on patient and Public Involvement (PPI), and will be focused on advancing the debate on future of involvement
The Changing Landscape of Health
This publication from the IDeA's Healthy Communities programme is part of a series on the new landscape of health and local government. It explores local experiences of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) process to date and reflects on what progress has been made. There is a challenge for Health Overview and Scrutiny Committees to examine progress and promote debate about the delivery of JSNA priorities and the state of local health partnerships on a regular basis.
