Exciting New Health Inequalities Programme Launched
Bid now to become a Scrutiny Development Area. We are seeking joint or stand alone applications for four Scrutiny Development Areas who will have a key role in making the health inequalities toolkit a comprehensive resource for local councils and partners, testing existing models of scrutiny and developing and defining new ones

Kirklees Wins Innovative Scrutiny Bid
Kirklees Council proposed study ‘Independence without Isolation’ was unanimously declared by the reviewing panel as an exemplary bid fulfilling all the criteria set out in this year’s guidance for an Innovative Scrutiny Review

Dignity in Care 

The Dignity in Practice in Adult Health and Social Care Event Office with NHS London and the Royal Borough of kensington and Chelsea are organising a free  event on Dignity in Practice in Health and Social Care on the 20th November 2009.


National Networking Events
The full programme is now published for each of the events, but book quickly as spaces are running out. Feedback from the first event in Taunton was good, and rewarded our efforts. There was an additional buzz as it was the same day as the Care Quality Commission published the Annual Performance Ratings sparking some controversy in the South West.
