Funded Innovative Scrutiny Reviews
Bids are invited for up to £10,000 for an innovative scrutiny review relating to the contribution of health and wellbeing to Community Cohesion. The bidding guidance for this year's funding was launched on 13th July at the Healthy Accountability Forum, where Andrew Lawrence gave a presentation illustrating how Community Cohesion threads through all aspects of public sector service delivery, and encompasses age, status and disability as well as ethnicity.

London Borough of Hackney. How can local services help to prevent short-term sickness absence from progressing to long term sickness absence and ultimately worklessness? The London Borough of Hackney is hosting an action learning conference on Tuesday 21 July 2009 at Shoreditch Town Hall, 380 Old Street, Hackney, EC1V 9LT to share the learning gained from the review, one of the four innovative reviews funded by the CfPS.
