New Local Spending Report website enables the public to scrutinise local spending
In response to the Power of Information Task Force Report the government has launched data.gov.uk with a view to improving both the availability and the usability of public sector information.
The Department of Communities and Local Government has published its responses to the first round consultation on Local Spending Reports (LSRs). The second phase of consultation closes on 15 May.
