Ten questions to ask if you are scrutinising local immunisation services

A guide written by leading immunisation experts and produced in partnership with Sanofi Pasteur MSD

CfPS is planning to update this guide on scrutinising local immunisation services, to relect changes to the public health landscape and this will be available soon.

After clean water, vaccination is the most effective public health intervention in the world for saving lives and promoting good health.

It is now seen as the most cost effective of activities undertaken by healthcare professionals.  Given the proposed changes to the the NHS we think this a good time to remind people of the significance of this service and publish a guide in partnership with Sanofi Pasteur MSD.

With the move of some public health functions to local government, including some responsibility for immunisations, scrutiny committees will have an even greater interest in how well things are working or could work in their local areas.
