The overall aim of the Scrutiny Investigation was to assess the operation and effectiveness of the Community Justice Court (CJC) operating in East Middlesbrough.
There was concern about the level of support available in Brighton and Hove for those who have experienced rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse or other forms of sexual violence. As a result of these concerns, the issue of support for victims of sexual violence was referred to Scrutiny.
This scrutiny panel was set up after a comment from Age Concern in Brighton & Hove, to investigate the main issues about community safety from an older person’s perspective.
To review Redbridge’s present working arrangements and practices and consider where improvements could be made.
