The reviews in this section relate to health and social care
The review of Services to Voluntary Carers in South Staffordshire was undertaken by the Health Scrutiny Panel.
The report was produced in relation to significant services changes within Child & Family Services. The review was carried out in order to feed into the decision-making process on the proposed closure of Ty Cwm and Ty Gwaun Children’s Homes at Cockett and associated Cabinet proposals.
The main aim of the review was to investigate and consider the challenges facing Homecare Services and the future developments required in Middlesbrough.
The review examined whether an Inverse Care Law - that is, lower levels of funding and poorer services in more deprived communities - exists in primary care in North Lincolnshire.
