A significant element of Flintshire's population is dispersed across a large rural area, resulting in difficulties in accessing services and facilities. The aim of the review was to look at the provision of bus services, urban and rural access, bus lay-bys and congestion within the county.
Regeneration & Transport Select Committee undertook an Efficiency, Improvement, and Transformation (EIT) review regarding the Commissioning and Provision of Public and Community Transport between April and November 2009. The Authority's three year EIT programme will review all services across the Authority.
