Lord Kerslake, Chair of CfPS welcomed the appointments saying,
“Public demand for good governance and accountability from organisations has never been higher, and our work is vital in supporting organisations so that they can demonstrate they are open to scrutiny. I am delighted to welcome these new Board members, whose extensive skills, experience and enthusiasm will be a critical support to us as we build on our successes to date and continue to grow in new sectors. I am also grateful to our retiring trustees for all their contributions which have helped CfPS to make a significant impact both within and beyond local government. “
